A 2A-DreERT2-wpre-polyA coexpression cassette is inserted before the stop codon of mouse Cyp2e1 gene via homologous recombination to establish a Cyp2e1-DreERT2 recombinase tool stain. This strain can be used to knockout target gene in Cyp2e1+ cells after tamoxifen treatment when crossed with rox flanking mice.
