Description:
A 2A-CreERT2-wpre-polyA coexpression cassette is inserted before the stop codon of mouse Hey2 gene via homologous recombination to establish a Hey2-CreERT2 recombinase tool stain. This strain can be used to knockout target gene in compact layers of the ventricular myocardium after tamoxifen treatment when crossed with flox mice.
