Description:
An M2rtTA-bGH-polyA expression cassette is inserted in Nppa gene via homologous recombination to establish a tetracycline-controlled Nppa-rtTA (tet-on) tool stain. When crossed with mice of which a target gene was driven by a TRE promoter, the target gene could be induced to express in Nppa+ cells after Dox administration.
